After School at Shandon Weekday School

The After School Program is a great choice for families who want their 5K through 8th grade children to play with friends, enjoy a snack, and get homework done in a safe, caring environment. Families enrolled in after school may attend summers if they choose at yearly enrollment.

• Program hours:
  School year: 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  Summer: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Children are grouped into rooms according to their grade in school.

• Transportation provided in state approved mini buses from AC Moore, Rosewood, Meadowfield, Brennen, Brockman, and Satchel Ford Elementary Schools,  as well as St. Joseph Catholic School when the dismissal time aligns with Richland One. Students from Hand Middle School walk one block to our facility along a prescribed route.

• All-day school-age program available subject to Richland School District One's holidays and closings. No additional fee charged on these days.

• Enrichment opportunities in art, dance, karate, soccer, and tumbling for an additional fee, plus field trips.

• Snacks provided each day and nutritious lunches prepared on-site on full days.

Children in the after school program are guaranteed enrollment in Summer Discovery if selected at time of year enrollment. Want to know if we have space for your child or have another question? Contact us here.
